Hi lovelies! As the new year is gearing up (and my 4th pregnancy is coming to an end), I’ve been focused on a lot of self-development. This includes working with my oracle and tarot decks, reading books and taking LOTS of courses. I wanted to take a moment today to share with you all what I’ve been up to:

Courses:

Even though I’m a certified Crystal Healer through the Hibiscus Moon Academy, I’m also taking the Blossoms United Certified Vibrational Crystal Healing course – both are FANTASTIC courses, with the BU course focusing a lot on emotional wellbeing. ❤ Luckily, enrollment in this course is open until Feb. 28th! You can check out more information on the course by going to my course page HERE.

I’ve also just started an Aromatherapy Diploma course through the Centre of Excellence Online. They have a variety of holistic course offerings on topics such as Dream Therapy, Mindfulness and Feng Shui. They also have business and graphic design courses available. I’ll let you know how my Aromatherapy course goes!

Books:

I’m on my second go-round of Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss, which I highly recommend. She has some amazing stories of energetic wellness in the first half of the book and in the second half, explains the Chakra system thoroughly and relates it to several different spiritual practices and cultures. This is a book I recommend to ALL of my clients.

I also just bought Your 3 Best Super Powers by Sonia Choquette – one of my favorite authors. This should be a quick read at just over 160 pages, so if you’re looking for a quick shot of inspiration for the new year, I would recommend picking this title up – I was able to order off of HayHouse.com for only $9! Other titles from Sonia that I have (and would also recommend!) are: Ask Your Guides and Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose. Both are amazing reads and books I’ve referred back to again and again over the last 5 years.

Cards:

Oracle and Tarot cards can teach us so much and they are an essential tool for me for personal development. I notice a difference between times when I refer to them and times I just let them sit in a drawer.

I recently picked up the Awakened Soul Oracle deck by Ethony and it is so very intuitive that it’s quickly becoming a favorite deck. I usually shy away from large decks since my hands are so small (I’m somewhat petite in general – my husband calls me “T-Rex Arms”!!), but this deck is worth the work-around! The imagery is beautiful and Ethony’s book is easy to follow and absorb. I can’t really say a single bad thing about this deck.

What have you lovelies been up to? What are your plans for self-development for 2017? Would love to hear about them in the comments below!

Brightest Blessings, -Cory, CCH
